SUB-SOIL INVESTIGATION

In order to ascertain the nature, formation and strength characteristics of sub-soil investigation, as per I.S. the soil samples are analyzed, taking samples from the site by using standard penetration test.

    The soil investigation involves the following

  • Mobilization of boring rigs with necessary equipment and personal
  • Boring of bore hole of 150 mm dia rotary power drilling equipment through sand, silt, clay, and rock etc., to a maximum depth of 15 meters below the bed level
  • Conducting Standard Penetration Tests in bore holes and collecting the disturbed soil samples including packing and transporting to laboratory
  • The particle size by doing sieve analysis, Hydrometer analysis
OBJECT OF SUB-SOIL INVESTIGATION
  • As certain the nature of formation and strength characteristics, by sub soil investigation, as per I.S. The soil samples are to be analysed, taking samples from the site using standard penetration test.
  • Boring of boreholes 150mm dia rotary power drilling equipment through sand, silt, clay, a maximum depth of 15m below sea bed level.
  • Conducting standard penetration test in boreholes and collecting the disturbed soil samples including packing and transporting to laboratory.
  • Particle size analysis using sieve and hydrometer analysis.
